OMIS' design concept is truly unlike any other, we customize our design
based on our client's needs. We look at the purpose of the online prescence
needed and adjust our coding principles to accomodate those needs. OMIS will never
work from template or offer an "off-the-shelf" solution. Your
finished product will look and feel like none other and your project will be customized based on your needs! Most importantly, your web prescence will be created (coded and developed) using the latest and most widely accepted programming languages - so you can rest assured that every user that needs to see your website can and will do so with no hassles, delays downloads needed to properly interact with your website.
When you decide to work with OMIS to implement your website, here are the steps you can expect from start to finish while working with our consultants:
1. Initial consultation
OMIS will consult with you free of charge at your office, by phone or by email to
assess what it is you are looking for in awebsite. This will
allow us to determine the ideal hosting solution for your business and
will allow us to determine what "design" look and feel will
be suitable for your business. This includes identifying company colours,
logo and "brand identity" or by understanding the purpose and use of a particular application (such as an online newsletter subscription service on your website). Once we have exchanged enough information to understand the project, OMIS will develop an initial proposal highlighting the items on your "wish list" as well as a few additional services that we feel can benefit your business and/or maximize the quality of your web needs.
2. Mock Up Creation
After the initial consultation, OMIS will offer a timeline to deliver
an non-functioning mock up of a few pages of your website. This will allow
you to visually see how your website or application will look like and open
the door for further consultation and/or tweaking. Once you are happy
with your design, the look/feel is finalized and OMIS begins the building
process
.
Once the look and feel is finalized, OMIS can now start putting content
in place. The best way to do this is by providing us with a company brochure,
video or additional sales materials. If additional content is needed,
OMIS will contact you on an as-needed basis.
3. Test Site Delivery
At this point, your website will almost be ready. All that will be needed
to do is click through the website just like your users will and see how the content and navigation
flow flow and see if you are happy with the graphics, text, and overall layout of your website. Still not too happy with a certain image or paragraph or colour? No problem! Pass along your comments and we'll "re-revise" it!
4. Go Live!
This is always the funnest part. Like flipping on a lightswitch, OMIS
will deliver your website to the world, ready to be used in word of mouth,
business cards and marketing materials and most importantly: generating income! After all, a website is no longer, simply a marketing tool. It is a vital part of a business' success and bottom line.. |
